• By Train: One of the popular ways to reach Bentota from Colombo is by train. The coastline runs several services daily to Bentota or Aluthgama station, which take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. 
• By Road: Bentota is approximately 65 km from Colombo, and it can be easily reached by road. You can reach it by taking a taxi or private car via the Southern Expressway (E01). A road trip from Colombo to Bentota takes around 60 to 90 minutes.
