Etihad Museum Dubai

The Etihad Museum opened to the public on December 7, 2017, commemorating the UAE's formation.  It is adjacent to the Union House, where the UAE Constitution was signed on December 2, 1971.

The museum covers an area of 25,000 square metres, and it has interactive pavilions, multimedia exhibitions, and rare photographs that help the visitor get a personal glimpse of how the Emirates came together to become one nation. Moriyama & Teshima Architects (a Canadian firm) designed it to resemble an open manuscript; the seven leaning columns symbolise the pens used to sign the constitution.
