Nungnung Waterfall

It is recommended to only bring the bare minimum of necessities to protect your materials because the waterfall is remote and lacks basic amenities like a changing area or restroom. Additionally, swimming close to the waterfall is not advised because of the strong current.

This location, which is in the Badung Regency, is easily reachable from popular cities like Ubud, Canggu, Seminyak, or Kuta. The tourist city of Ubud, which takes an hour to get to from here, seems to be the closest one based on distance and travel time. You could either call a cab or rent a scooter to get to the location. Leke Leke Falls

Only 30 minutes separate the stunning Leke Leke waterfalls in Bali from the Nungnung waterfall. Leke Leke, a narrow stream of water, creates a small, shallow pool of water. This tranquil waterfall is more subdued than the grand Nungnung falls. When you are surrounded by a green, lush forest, you genuinely feel as though you have entered the avatar world. You can find a naturally formed cave behind the falls with even more exploration. Other activities are also accessible from here, including cycling, swinging for a view, and tubing.

Sangeh Monkey Forest

The Sangeh monkey forest is located 30 kilometres south of the Nungnung forest. There are three distinct groups of monkeys, and no trespassing is permitted between them due to their territorial nature. The grey macaque monkeys live in this 35-acre forest, which also contains giant nutmeg trees and the remains of a Hindu temple from the 17th century. Additionally, using one of the tour guides who work on-site is recommended. They are a big help in keeping the monkeys under control, ensuring that we don't panic, and getting fantastic pictures of them.

• Don't bring electronics like your phone, camera, or drones close to the falls as they could get damaged.
• Avoid attempting to get too close to the falls because of the strong current there.
• In case of emergencies, keep some basic medical supplies on you. 
• Dry bags could be practical for keeping your belongings together.
• From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Nungnung Falls is open.
• Be cautious when climbing down because the stones and bridges may be slick during the rainy season.
• Bring a change of clothes with you.
