Cartoonist and travel enthusiast Robert Ripley is credited with founding the renowned Ripley's Believe It or Not!, a concept that communicates and presents strange and unusual facts through radio, television, and newspapers. In 1933, Ripley displayed his collection as the Odditorium at the Chicago World's Fair, and it quickly gained popularity. After 90 years, Ripley's Entertainment has grown to become a significant tourist destination in the entertainment and education sectors. One of its sister franchises, which is situated in Pattaya's Royal Garden Plaza, is a popular tourist attraction in Thailand.

Why visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

There are numerous other attractions in addition to the museum at this location. Seven attractions can be found there, including the Odditorium, Scream in the Darkroom, Haunted House, Wax Statue House, Laser Maze Challenge, Illusion Maze, and Moving Theater. The lively atmosphere, bright lights, and endearing voices will keep our children entertained, making this a must-visit location with family in Pattaya. One will never forget these facts after visiting the location because the visual representations, whether they be paintings, artwork, or replicas, are so alluring.

Best time to visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

The influence of the weather does not affect this indoor attraction. As a result, anyone can visit Ripley's Museum at any time of the year. Ripley’s Believe it or Not! is open every day from 11:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night. As one of the best places in Thailand to escape the oppressive heat, it is advised to visit in the afternoon because there are many places to explore.

At Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

When you first arrive, you'll be startled to see a replica of a plane crashing into the Royal Garden Plaza of the Pattaya complex, which establishes the mood for the park. By selecting one of the packages of 3, 5, or 7, you can visit the attractions.

The well-known one, called Odditorium, is a collection of bizarre and unusual things that have existed or still exist in our society. As you enter the museum, a T-rex will welcome you, followed by a Chinese museum and a display of old objects like beer cans, guns, and other items. There are also wax replicas of unusual objects and people here, such as the statues of the tallest man and a three-legged horse. Another thing not to miss is the puzzle room, which has math puzzles and pictures with optical illusions. It also includes images of tools and methods of ancient torture that are not suitable for young children or those with weak hearts.

Enjoy the cheap thrills of jump scares, then visit Scream in the Dark Room to see the nightmares that will frighten you, such as the crazy clowns, robbers, and eerie mirrors. Another eerie location in the attraction, The Haunted Adventure, gives visitors shivers down their spines with its breathtaking special effects and live performances.

The first wax museum in Thailand, Louis Tussaud's Waxworks, offers visitors the opportunity to view lifelike wax statues of notable individuals. To give us a different feeling, the wax statues are divided into nine different sections. A background voice is also provided for the wax statues, and the ambience makes every effort to maintain a realistic-looking setting.

Visitors will have an incredible experience with the Vault Maze and Illusion Maze. In the 20-minute illusion maze, you'll have to use both your senses and your brain to make sense of things. In a timed competition, you'll face physical challenges to avoid the laser beams.

Nine different effects, a large screen, digital sound effects, the seats moving in all directions, and specially designed three-dimensional glasses offer an immersive experience to the audience when they visit Ripley’s Moving Theatre 9DX. Thanks to its setting and special effects, it immerses the viewer in the story.
