2. BVZ railway

The whole train journey starts from Brig and then moves to Visp, Tasch and finally halts at Zermatt. The Zermatlantis Matterhorn Museum is set up with a traditional Alpine village touch to it. There are multiple galleries inside the museum which were dismantled and rebuilt in the initial days. The artwork inside the galleries depict the various historical and cultural traditions of the Matterhorn Museum. The inner walls have a Neolithic touch to them. 5. The Riffelhorn

Used as a training climb to head to Matterhorn, the Rifflehorn is a small peak on the southern side of Zermatt. Take a walk from the Rotenboden stop and you will reach the Rifflehorn in fifteen minutes. Seated on the Gornergletsher glacier, the Rifflehorn offers spectacular views of Matterhorn mountains, Breithorn and Monte Rosa.

8. Gorner Gorge
