Day 1 of our Bali Vacation

In our opinion, Pickyourtrail provides excellent Bali honeymoon packages that can lead to an incredible trip. We would like to recount our individual experiences of how our trip went. First, we landed at Denpasar Airport in the morning and moved to the hotel in Seminyak by cab. We decided to take it easy that day, but the hotel we stayed at had fun events to participate in. Along with good Balinese food, we enjoyed the games in the hotel and the relaxed traditional music performances at dinner. It was indeed a beautiful first day of our trip.

Day 2 of our Romantic Getaway to Bali

It is the day of adventure in Bali! To make our honeymoon more enjoyable, we added a Bali watersports package that includes parasailing, banana boating, a jet-ski ride, and scuba diving. All these activities were on our bucket list, and we were more than thrilled to get them done.

  • Our adventure began with parasailing, where the instructors explained the rules and regs and gave us safety tips for sailing and steering instructions for landing.  Even though my wife was a little frightened at first, we thoroughly loved the experience. First, a strap that is attached to the parasail canopy and hooked to the speed boat by a rope was placed around each of us.  When everything is set, the beach crew gives the boat driver the go-ahead to start the engine and tighten the tow cable, which inflates the parasail canopy. It is one of the must-try on your Bali trip.
  • Bali Banana Boat riding is one of the most spectacular water sports in Bali, allowing you to enjoy the warm and turquoise seawater in 15 minutes on each trip. An expert professional will guide you throughout the ride. The instructor will pull the banana boat into the sea using a boat at a reasonable speed so that you may enjoy the game better. And what made the ride more thrilling is the sudden pace change of the power boat. During the ride, the powered boat driver makes interesting attempts to flip the banana boat upside-down by making quick twists. The whole ride was so exhilarating.
  • Without any second thought, you can get on the Jet Ski bike in Bali. Similar to a motorbike, a jet ski's acceleration is controlled by a hand-operated throttle that is positioned on the right side grip. The driver can boost the motor's power by turning the throttle. The front-mounted grips must be pointed, and the body must be moved, to steer a jet ski. A jet ski literally pushes the water out of the way using an enclosed gas-powered motor rather than the customary propeller or screw motor. The instructors are good at their job and trying this watersport in Bali is highly recommended.
  • Our last adventure of the day was Scuba diving. After attempting all the watersports above the water, now we were excited to experience the underwater. Bali is one of the best places for diving, you can witness the coral reefs, and the colorful colonies of fish ranging from tiny to big ones. The underwater panorama view will present a new perspective. You will have guides throughout the session. Also, before you start your activity, the instructors will tell you the dos and don’ts, and give you insight about using oxygen and all other safety measures. A trip undersea is a lifetime experience and it made our vacation itch to our hearts.

After fulfilling our watersports desire, we took the leisure to travel to Ubud to continue our honeymoon trip.

Day 3 of our Romantic Bali Vacation

Can your Bali vacation feel complete without trying the famous swing? Yes, seeing the beautiful panoramic view, we spent time on Ubud’s popular swing and took so many videos and photographs of the scenic location.

Later in the evening, we went to see magic. Yes, we relished the magical sunset at Tanah Lot Pura. Tanah Lot sunsets are legendary in Bali, and experiencing them with your loved ones is divine. On the cliff terrace close to the temple, there are a number of affordable restaurants and warungs. Tanah Lot isn't the place to go for a fine dining experience, but it is an excellent site to watch the sunset while sipping on a cold Bintang or some fresh fruit juice.

Day 4 of our Exotic Bali Trip

It is a day of culture and heritage! We visited the most beautiful and ancient temples in Bali. While we were booking, the Pickyourtrail team gave us a heads-up about the dress code we needed to follow in Bali temples.

  • Ulun Danu is quite beautiful. It is the first temple we visited and it did not disappoint. Even on a foggy day, the atmosphere at the beautiful temple with the backdrop of the mountains was amazing. The gardens were wonderfully groomed and quite enjoyable to walk through; there were plenty of picnic spaces, photogenic spots, and plenty of other activities.
  • Taman Ayun, the famous royal temple is our next spot. The structures of the ancient temple are incredibly lovely. The grounds are stunning and have beautiful flowers. Carvings and statues enhance the beauty of this place. We were able to find peaceful locations to enjoy the calm despite the fact that there were other groups there throughout our stay. This place is highly recommended.
  • To take a picture in Bali’s Handara Gate was on our vacation bucket list. It is one of the popular photogenic spots in Bali. People just gather at this gate to take pictures and we too took so many of them. It looks lovely and spacious, and it adds to its allure by allowing access to the golf field.
  • Banyumala waterfall is our last stop for the day. Prepare for a decent drop of steps (which you must then climb back up), but the effort is well worth it. It is among the most stunning waterfalls in Bali, in my opinion. Perhaps since it's relatively far from Denpasar, there are fewer people there, making it easier to swim and take pictures.

Day 5 of our Blissful Trip to Bali

This was officially our last day of exploring Bali, and the places we chose were Kintamani Volcano, Tegallalang Rice Terraces, and Ubud Monkey Forest. All these places are the mirror of the rich culture and heritage of Bali.

  • Kintamani Volcano: A challenging walk will be required to reach the peak of Mount Batur, one of Bali's most active volcanoes. We got up very early on the day in order to enjoy the sunrise from the top of the volcano. Our guides assisted us in climbing to the summit, and the glorious sunrise made the effort worthwhile.
  • It is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the spot is widely popular during sunrise and sunset. Visit the neighboring Bali Pulina plantation and take your time exploring the terraces. Here, we attempted the fantastic mountain-edge swings.
  • It's a special experience for you. In the tranquil atmosphere of Bali's lush-green forests, you can encounter long-tailed macaques in their natural habitat. Almost 1,200 monkeys call the Holy Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary home. You may also take a look at all the gorgeous temples in the neighborhood as you stroll along with them.

Final Day 6 of our Trip to Bali

We decided to spend our last day at leisure, as we had to pack all the stuff we bought at the local markets. By noon, we had reached Denpasar Airport and boarded our flight to India.

Our Bali Trip Experience with Pickyourtrail

It was FABULOUS!!! Everything we wanted was included in our holiday package. We had a great Honeymoon trip to Bali, complete with daring sports, stunning ancient sites, and wildlife connections. Of course, we will plan more trips with Pickyourtrail. Customer service receives five stars.
