Things to know before you go
- The desert sun is strong, so use sunscreen and cover up as much as possible. A hat and sunglasses will help keep the sand out of your eyes, too.
- Stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is crucial when spending time in the desert heat. Bring along a water bottle and drink regularly, even if you're not thirsty.
- If you are planning to participate in mountain biking, remember to go slowly at first, as it is easy to lose control if you go too fast.
- Make sure you wear light clothes. Dubai can be hot and exhausting, so make sure you wear loose-fitting, light-colored clothes that will keep you cool and protected from sunburn.
- Bring your camera. You don't want to miss out on capturing your wonderful moments. Make sure to bring your camera or phone so you can take lots of pictures and videos.
- Always check the weather before setting out. Heat can be very intense at times, so it is always a good idea to check the weather before venturing out.
