Safari World

Best time to  Safari World

The best time to visit Safari World is from November to May, which is Thailand's high season. The weather is dry and cool, making it the perfect time to explore the zoo and animals. Even though the zoo is open in the summer, some people may find the humidity and temperature uncomfortable. The zoo is typically open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends. To avoid the tropical heat, it is advised to visit the zoo in the late afternoon or early in the morning.

Things to do at the  Safari World

For ease of access, the Safari World can be easily divided into the Safari Park and the Marine Park. Established in 1988, the park is located 40 kilometers from Bangkok's main town.

Safari Park

A safari tour, on a minibus, can take visitors to the Safari Park, which is situated on the Safari World's outer perimeter. The area is home to numerous animal species, including lions, tigers, zebras, camels, rhinoceroses, and other creatures. There are enormous birds here, including ostriches and marabou storks. Horned herbivores like rhinoceroses, gaurs, and oryxes are separated into their own categories. On safari bus tours, wild animals like lions and tigers can be seen. This tour includes the opportunity to see the lion and tiger feeding sessions.

Marine Park

In contrast to Safari Park, the areas inside the Marine Park, which is located in the middle of Safari World, can be reached on foot. While strolling through the park, you can observe the various performances and events taking place there. Dolphins, sea lions, giraffes, orangutans, crocodiles, and other mammals can be found in the park. Among the main attractions here are the dolphin shows, orangutan boxing shows, elephant shows, and sea lion shows. They also have a humorous portrayal of a Hollywood-styled live-action cowboy film that keeps one entertained in addition to the animal shows. You could also give food to the animals, including the young tiger cubs. They also have a separate area called Egg Island where they display a variety of bird eggs for educational purposes.

How to reach  Safari World

The BTS railway station and Safari World are not directly connected by a rail line, but you can get there by hopping across bus stops from the railway station. From the BTS train station, one could take Route 26 to Fashion Island and then Route 197 to the Safari World bus stop, where they could walk to their final destination. In addition to this, you could tour Bangkok using a private vehicle, cab, or rented scooter, depending on your convenience.

• For Safari Park:

From 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, the safari park is open.
On the weekends, the safari park is open from 9:00 in the morning until 5:30 in the evening.

• For Marine Park:

The marine park is open from 9:00 in the morning until 5:00 in evening on workdays.

• The cost of admission, which covers both the marine park and the safari park, is 1500 THB for adults and 1400 THB for kids.
• The price for admission to the marine park and a buffet lunch is 1800 THB for adults and 1500 THB for kids.
