This is the story of how me and my wife went on a Staycation to WH Ayatana, Coorg with Pickyourtrail. If I should describe it in one word, it was ‘Marvellous’! You all know how the current lockdown situation turned our lives topsy turvy. We literally woke up to the same old wall for five long months. The greenest greens and the bluest blues (waterfalls and skies) came alive when we were in Ayatana. We went there with zero expectations and Ayatana truly surprised us with an unprecedented package of everything. With dreamy landscapes, misty mornings and lush forests, Ayatana’s cottages added grace to Coorg’s beauty. The highlights of our Coorg Staycation includes the well-furnished room with modern amenities and a private waterfalls. Enjoying the mountain view while sipping a hot cup of coffee and chatting with my wife was a dream come true, literally. How can I miss saying about the food? The restaurant in the resort served us many lip-smacking delicacies. It had several options for vegetarians too. In addition to this, the restaurant was maintained very well with periodic sanitisation.

Safety at the property

Staycations are indeed safe vacations. Here is how Ayatana in Coorg ensured that we are staying safe.

• The public areas in the resort were sanitised at regular intervals.
• We were asked to download the Aarogya Setu app before checking in.
• The resort strictly maintained only 50% capacity in accommodation. The same rule applied to the restaurant as well.
• Since the rooms were far away from each other, the chances of public contact were also negligible.
