Our Honeymoon Trip To Europe – Fairytales Do Come True!

What’s more romantic than being at the Eiffel Tower with your loved one? This was one of my dream come true moments. I’ve always fantasized about travelling to Switzerland and Paris with the love of my life. Pickyourtrail made it so simple and beautiful. I decided to visit Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands. I and my wife badly wanted to experience snowfall in our lives. We also had an added advantage of staying at my sister’s place in the Netherlands. So without any second thought, we decided our dream destination. Upon research on the internet, I got to know about Pickyourtrail. One fine day I received a call from them. I clearly explained my expectations to one of their travel consultants. One good thing about Pickyourtrail is, they don’t give us a plated meal. It is a buffet from which you can pick the dishes that you want. We made several changes before finalizing the itinerary. The travel consultants were very patient and helped us in the customization part. Finally, a perfect itinerary for our trip to Europe was crafted!

There are several memorable experiences on the trip. Some of the many beautiful experiences are,

Rhine Falls:

Standing high above Europe’s largest waterfall, was one of the best feelings ever. It was the first time I had experienced the roar and vibration of the water amidst the tall and mighty rocks. We went crazy on this mind-blowing sight of the rushing falls. The moment was too lively to explain with words.

Mount Titlis:

Mount Titlis was a last-minute addition to our trip. I feel lucky that we picked this place. The breathtaking views of Swiss Alps combined with amazing scenery was simply W-O-W! As we got down from the cable car, the high Alpine panorama surprised us with its beauty. We also did the most exciting snow tubing in the snow. The spectacular view and the snowfall will always rule our phone galleries.

Lake Lucerne

This picturesque location with an amazing backdrop was so cool that we couldn’t resist ourselves from taking pictures. Beautifully situated between steep limestone mountains with flowing cutting edges, this lake was simply a feast to the eyes. 

Eiffel Tower

We ascended to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel tower and admired the beauty of Paris. We were completely soaked in the stunning vistas of the city and its monuments. Then we took the illumination cruise down the River Seine. Paris, ‘the city of lights’ was so beautiful and serene after dark.

Disney Land:

Our fairytales finally came true. We relived our childhood days in Disney land with our favourite Disney heroes. We experienced all shapes and sizes of thrill, adventure, and fun. It totally changed our perspective and made us realize that Disney land is for grown-ups too!

Amsterdam

We came to the end of our trip by setting our footprints in the magical land of Amsterdam. Historic buildings, beautiful museums and pleasant ambience captivated our hearts. We strolled through the Vondelpark and went on a shopping spree in the inner city as well.
