Porta Portese Sunday Market in Rome

Did you ever know all the fun things happen on Sundays? If not, get ready for an unforgettable Italian experience at the busy, yet lively streets of Porta Portese Sunday market in Rome

Porta Portese Sunday markets are the most famous and largest markets in Italy spilled with countless stalls. Your visit to Rome will not be complete without until you visit the Porta Portese Sunday Market to bring home a chunk of Rome with you. You can shop, meet the locals, eat local food on a budget and collect souvenirs for friends and family. This old market is a true icon of Rome.

You’ll be spoilt for choices in the market – second-hand vintage clothes, a diverse range of antiques, art books, and much more. With that being said, it is hard to find authentic antiques and vintage collections. But, if you are lucky enough, you might spot old paintings and brass collectibles.

The corner of Rome’s Trastevere transforms into a noisy bustling market every Sunday. Whether you’re looking for a bargain or not, visit the market to soak up the vibrant atmosphere, noise of traders and delicious local culinary delights
