Things to know before travelling to Maldives

:white_check_mark:  There are no testing and vaccination requirements to enter Maldives. Travellers are no longer required to hold a Covid-19 vaccine certificate or a negative PCR test result upon arrival.

:white_check_mark:  IMUGA form must be filled within 48 hours of your arrival into Maldives. https://travel.immigration.gov.mv/

:white_check_mark:  Visa is on Arrival in Maldives and it is free of cost. You’ll need your Flight tickets, Resort vouchers, IMUGA codes and 2 photographs.

:white_check_mark:  IMUGA form form must be filled within 48 hours of your return to India.

:white_check_mark: All travellers aged 5 years and over must be double-dose vaccinated. If not, you will have to take a RT-PCR test within 48 hours before returning to India.

:white_check_mark: If you are traveling on Seaplane, Seaplanes operate from 6:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., 7 days per week. However, schedules vary depending on the arrival and departure times of all guests on that given day. You must arrive into Male before 3:30 p.m. in order to catch a same day Seaplane transfer.

:white_check_mark:  If you are traveling on Speedboat, Kindly note estimated waiting time is 1.5 hours to 3 hours depending on other guests to arrive by different international flights which will be joining your transfer.

:white_check_mark:  USD is the common currency accepted in the Maldives and an average expenditure is 50 – 75 USD/day for a person, based on inclusions. If you are willing to do water sports the price may vary accordingly. Currency exchange rates are high in the Maldives. So, have them changed in your departure city. Kindly have your currency exchanged at an authorised exchange before your travel.

:white_check_mark:  Since we won’t be able to pre-book the activities, you  can connect with the resort representative once you arrive, they will brief you on the activities being offered.

:white_check_mark:  In case you are traveling on Honeymoon to Maldives, Please ensure you have confirmed honeymoon request at the time of booking with us. Also, Carry a hard copy of your marriage certificate to avail Honeymoon benefits. In case you don’t have your marriage certificate, please carry a hard copy of your marriage invitation and wedding/engagement photos.

:white_check_mark:  If you are traveling on Seaplane, The standard permissible weight is 25 kg, which includes 20 kg of checked-in luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage per person. Any excess baggage over this will be charged at the time of check -in. The per kg charge for baggage above the permissible limit is USD 5.00/ approximately plus applicable taxes.
