2-Day Itinerary to Mumbai

Day 1

Mumbai can be easily reached from any part of India. Since it is one of the main cities, it is very well connected through air, rail and by road. The tickets are relatively cheap if booked well in advance.

As soon as you arrive in Mumbai, check in to your hotel/accommodation and get refreshed. The city has a lot to give, let’s just dive right in, on touring the city.

Once called as Bombay, the city was part of the British colony with many buildings built on British architecture. This part of Mumbai is located in South Bombay which is also called as SoBo by the new age.

  1. Head to click a photo at the famous Gateway of India.
  2. The famous and magnificent Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal. With more than 100 terminals, the place is soo huge that you might get lost just visiting.
  3. Brihanmuni Municipal Corporation – Shortly called as BMC, the building is the office to major state operations.
  4. High Court of Bombay – Regal coloured building with over 200 people flocking at any given time still amazes people who visit there.
  5. Rajabi Clock Tower

The unique structures like the dome, ceilings, statues are must-see while visiting the above-mentioned buildings. The structure is so fine it shows brilliant workmanship.

Day 2

Start your day at leisure and head to Lower Parel, Mumbai. The streets of Lower Parel are stuffed with amazing food joints that make water your mouth. Plan a breakfast or a brunch and enjoy the delicious food.

  • Mumbai is quite known for its beach. Take a long walk on the sandy beach and enjoy a sunset.
  • Now that you are in Lower Parel, head out and explore the busy streets of famous actors houses are. Play spot the actor with their house and keep yourself occupied.
  • If you love junk food, head to Linking Road post 4 PM. You have over hundreds of small hawkers with their food stalls serving all kinds of snacks.
  • Tired with roaming around, head to Our lady of the Mount and ancient church in Mumbai that has got a view.
