2. The Salisbury Museum

3. Salisbury Cathedral

This Church was completed in 1258 and remains one of the finest historic cathedrals in Britain and another one of Salisbury’s gems. The cathedral ‘s architecture is beautiful and all the sculptures are all beautifully sculpted. The Magna Carta of 1215 also contains a part of the church.

There is a lot of tradition in this church, and if you are curious, it is a wonderful opportunity and certainly should be investigated. Fun fact: This is the structure they used in several Hogwarts sequences for Harry Potter fans in all eight films.

4. Arundells

Arundells is another historic site in Salisbury which is open regularly to the public. The collection represents Sir Edward’s time in public service and includes his pieces of paintings and musical sculptures, Asian and European ceramics, drawings, bronze paintings, Chinese and Japanese prints, photographs, etc. This building has a lot to look at and the 2 acre (0.8 hectares) greenhouse, which can be enjoyed by anyone, is still open. It is probably a day trip, as it will take a few hours.

It is the main entrance to Salisbury Cathedral Close. Constructed in 1327 and 1342, it held a small jail in the Liberties of the Close for those guilty of wrongdoings. There is plenty of time to visit the old grounds, throughout the day, from 6 am to 11 am. The gates are open. It was locked for maintenance many times because it is too old but never too long so visitors will visit the gate and the grounds inside. A nice stroll across this place is one of the best things to do in Salisbury.

one of the top things to do in Salisbury is WIlton House. The Wilton House has been a historic country house since 1544. It’s an excellent beauty to see as you head to the massive house. There is also an on-site garden, races and a golf course on 5665.6 acres of the estate. The land is well managed. Until around 1958, the house seems to have been open to the public and continues to attract tourists worldwide.

7. The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum

For anyone with an interest in guns, this is a perfect place to explore. This museum demonstrates how the many various weapons operate, how and where they have been used, and even old weapons that are properly preserved to display.
