The Long Lost Love – Pickyourtrail!

When my daughter and I wanted to celebrate Diwali in a different way, we thought of taking a trip which could take us close to nature. “TRAVEL” – That word reminded me of Pickyourtrail! We have always loved the quality of service and the amazing experience which they were able to offer. So, without any second thoughts, we started to plan our Staycation experience to The Naini Retreat with Pickyourtrail! And, trust me, that was a good spell in 2020!

The Naini Retreat – Nainital Heritage Hotel Experience

The Naini Retreat hotel is by far one of the best heritage hotels in Nainital. Interestingly, this hotel is located near the Naini lake and provides you with picture-perfect scenic views. It was literally, W-O-W! We were super excited to see the palatial building which had an old royal charm which was quite enough to attract every individual at the first sight.

Before even coming out of the look of the grand hotel, the staffs started to steal our hearts with their polite gesture. To be honest, the staffs were very friendly and co-operative with all the required safety measures which truly amazed us! When we were experiencing all these on one side, the YUMMINESS welcomed us on the other! Yesssss, it was all about the mouthwatering food! We had our meal at the Lake View Gurney House Multi-cuisine Restaurant which gave us a feeling of “GIVE ME MORE”.

The “More Than Beautiful” Views Which Made Us Feel Heaven!

As our Staycation experience started good, the very next day made me and my family blend with nature which gave me a GREAT EXPERIENCE! And yes, that’s when I realised why nature was called MOTHER NATURE! Mother nature has the finest box of crayons, right? Full of colours and life! Capturing the early morning sunrise felt like EVERYTHING to me and it was one of the peaceful moments in my life. As my family and I started the guided nature walk tour, each and every step excited us and made us agree that nothing could be more beautiful than nature! Well, haven’t you agreed yet? And last but not the least, how can I miss sharing my boat ride experience. Definitely not! So here it is – It was something which we wanted the most. We were taken to the Boat House Club which gave us the much-needed chills and thrills! It was nothing, but the most perfect experience we had! Diwali couldn’t have been any more amazing for us if not this Staycation experience! We were truly connected with nature, it was a pollution-free experience with the clear blue sky which refuelled our soul!
