The Plitvice lakes national park is one among the top tourist attractions in Croatia. It is the oldest and largest national park in the country and has also been added to UNESCO world heritage site list. This natural wonder is situated in the mountainous area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina and it located roughly between the capital city of Zagreb and Zadar on the coast. The entrance fee for the park will vary from 100 to 200 KN depending on the season, which also includes the train and ferry/boat ride.
