These tributaries of the river also make Zanskar valley one of the best places for river rafting in the entire country. Pangong Tso Lake

The Pangong Tso Lake is one of the most iconic and yet breathtaking attractions in Leh Ladakh. The lake is located in the Changtang plateau region on the eastern side of Ladakh. Kargil

Kargil is the second largest town in Leh Ladakh and is a place that one cannot miss during their visit to this paradise on earth. Kargil is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ladakh and is situated in the banks of the Indus river. Kargil also acts as an important transit point for people who are travelling to Leh, Padum, Zanskar or Srinagar.

Kargil is also one of the most famous adventure sports destinations in this part of the country. Nubra Valley
