Dubai Opera, located within the Opera District in Downtown Dubai, is a 2000 seat performing art centre that brings together art and music to life in grandeur like never before. It is a multi-format performing arts centre built by Emaar Properties in 2016. Located in Downtown Dubai, which is billed as ‘the most prestigious square kilometre in the world’, the Dubai Opera house functions as a theatre, an exhibition centre, a concert hall, or even a banquet hall. It is considered as the hub of radiant culture and arts and is widely regarded as the shining pearl of The Opera District.

The Dubai Opera has a sprawling flat floor capacity of around 1800 square meters, and the structure resembles that of a ‘Dhow‘, a traditional sailing vessel, wherein the bow of the structure houses the main stage, thus validating the Dubai Opera as an architectural marvel. This contemporary design is a stylish tribute to Dubai’s maritime history.

How to reach the Opera

Dubai Opera is located in the heart of the Opera District, Downtown Dubai, which is extremely easy to access. There is good connectivity in all modes of transport within the city. The accessibility and entry get easier for special-needs individuals. The box office of the Opera is open between 10 am – 9 pm and is located in the Opera Plaza on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard.
