Thanks to the multi-million project that is underway in the city of Ras al-Khaimah which aids in building the world’s longest and the highest zip line adventure across the UAE’s highest peak of Jebel Jais.

While the exact length and the height of the zip line adventure are still a closely guarded secret, the zip line is said to run across a length of 2.8 Kilometers, from the tallest peak of the Jebel Jais Mountain. To give you, even more, perspective to this, imagine 28 soccer fields floating in the sky at a height of 1,930 meters above the sea level. And that’s not it. You will be flying through the air at speeds of 88 to 120 Km/hr. Just picturizing it in my head gives me chills!

To put this in motion, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has tied up with the world’s leading zip line adventure operator of Toro Verde. Interestingly, the zip line adventure is crafted using locally sourced natural materials and is also powered by solar energy, which is a great news for eco-lovers.

While the zip line adventure ride is open to all ages, there are some requirements which you should fulfill in order to get the experience of the incredible ride. This includes a minimum weight of 35 Kgs and a maximum of 150 Kgs, along with it your height should also be at least 120 Cms.

This world’s longest and highest zip line adventure will be unveiled to the public in the first week of December and if the measurements are believed to be true, the adventure ride in Ras al-Khaimah will break the current world zip line record of 2,200 meters held by ‘The Monster’ in Puerto Rica and put the city of Ras al-Khaimah on the map, as a global adventure destination for the tourists.

“It’s the closest you can get to the experience of flying”, the CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) was quoted saying.
