The United Arab Emirates, also simply called the Emirates, is a nation in Western Asia on the Persian Gulf at the northeast end of the Arabian Peninsula, bordering Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south and west. It shares maritime boundaries with Qatar to the west and Iran to the north.

There are plenty of places to explore in UAE with attractions such as the Marina Center, Legoland and Ferrari World that will render your holiday a memorable one. If you’re not interested in the usual tourist sites in the UAE, the Al Ain Oasis and Fujairah Fort can give you a glimpse of a mostly unexplored part of the desert kingdoms.

Best time to visit the United Arab Emirates

Undoubtedly the best time to visit the United Arab Emirates would be during the cooler months of the year. The climate in the middle east is generally hot and dry. You can also visit the UAE from October and February. At this time of the year the weather is cool making for a light jacket or sweater and ideal to visit the beaches as well.

Dubai

Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s wealthiest towns, is a prime illustration of a new oil-city in the Gulf that has grown from a farming community to megacities in only a few decades. Fujairah

Calm and serene, the emirate of Fujairah is a picturesque coastal town tucked away from the capital’s fast-paced life. It is known to be a vibrant city packed with urban skyscrapers and beautiful mountains and beaches, a breathtaking sanctuary for residents and visitors.

The city oozes elegance in its raw natural beauty, mainly a corporate center and economic hub of the U.A.E. Thanks to the huge Hajar Range, it’s isolated from the rest of the U.A.E and provides an enchanting scenery and a comfortable lifestyle. The region is a spectacular blend of a 70 km long sandy coastline and towering mountain ranges, continuing with its vibrant cultural heritage.

Al-Ain

Al-Ain literally translates into ‘the spring season,’ which was once a crucial oasis on the UAE-Oman caravan road. It is a quiet, peaceful town away from the masses of the UAE’s biggest cities. It is renowned primarily for its greenery and is a stunning sight to be found in the midst of a desert.

Al-Ain is a one and a half-hour drive from the city of Abu Dhabi and is one of the oldest continuously settled sites in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It can possibly be recognized as the UAE’s historic center with a lot of past and tradition swirling in it for a long time. It houses numerous picturesque forts and museums, as well as the famous oasis lined with date palms.

A must-do when in Al Ain, is driving up to the top of Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, a rocky mountain that dominates the area, to enjoy a stunning view of the plains. This is the highest point of the emirate, and the second-highest of the UAE. Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain Zoo, Al Jahili Fort, Al Ain Museum, Al Ain Oasis are amongst the top things to do in Al Ain.

Ajman

Relaxed and calm, Ajman is the smallest of all seven emirates, renowned for its stunning landscape and amazing beaches. It is also a growing town with many options for sightseeing, such as parks, beaches, fort complexes, and shopping malls.

Located along the west coast of the United Arab Emirates, Ajman is snuggled with a broad coastline on the Arabian Gulf. Apart from becoming a business center, the retail community and other events have also risen, drawing visitors in significant numbers. As a tourist destination, it promises bright holidays and an enriching historical journey for its tourists. The City Center, Beaches, National Museum, Dhow Yard, Etisalat towers are amongst the top things to do in Ajman.
