History of Haldighati

This historic battle was fought on 21st June 1576 between Maharana Pratap, the Mewer King and Emperor Akbar, the Mughal ruler. Haldigathi is a mountain pass on the hills of Aravali. It is about 50 kilometres away from the Central Udaipur city and is located near the Rakt Talai on the Maharana Pratap Stadium Road.

You will find some attractive pictures, models of Mahara Pratap discussing his strategies with his ministers and chiefs, Pratap’s Union with his horse Chetak, and interesting scenes of Pratap’s life in the jungle.
