The Kappad beach shares it shores to the rest of Kerala as well. One can either take a car and self-drive or can take public transport like the KSRTC bus. The cost to reach the beach by taking a bus is approximately INR 15 per person. You can also hire a cab or an auto if you are not willing to go by bus.

For everyone travelling to Kerala from other states of India, the state is really vast. So if the Kappad Beach is on your itinerary, we suggest you book flights to Kozhikode, Kerala. There are several direct and connecting flights to Kozhikode from different parts of India.

When is it a good time to visit the beach?

You don’t need to have a reason or a suitable time to visit the beach. Beaches can be visited at any time to enjoy long walks and a chill breeze. However, the weather in Kozhikode may play an additional point for you to take that walk on the beach. We suggest you visit here during the summer or winter. These are the only seasons when you can enjoy the pleasant breeze and chill on the sand and play games. Monsoons in Kerala are really evil, which means too much rainfall. Although rainfalls are not really bad, they do spoil the fun of going out.
