Special shout out to Surya who was knowledgeable, personable, and always went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and engaged even during the trip. From Day 1 when we connected he did his best to accommodate all our needs & managed the group expectations really well. The accommodations were top-notch, conveniently located, and catered to diverse preferences within our group. The seamless transportation arrangements allowed us to travel across cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nagoya effortlessly. We missed a train and he was there trying to figure out things for us. App support is exceptional and were responding to all queries instantly. What truly impressed me was their responsiveness to last-minute adjustments and ability to handle a large group without missing a beat. This trip exceeded all our expectations, leaving us with unforgettable memories. It's been a week since we are back from the trip and still reminiscing about the good times we had. Japan Tour - Review Feedback for Pick Your Trail (PYT) Our family vacation in Japan, organized by Pick Your Trail (PYT), was truly exceptional. From the initial itinerary suggestions to the on-time assistance throughout our trip, PYT's team ensured everything ran smoothly. Japan itself is incredibly organized, making commuting via public transport comfortable even for first-time travelers like us. The adherence to schedules in Japan allowed us to manage our time effectively, even with a young child in tow. We visited in July 2024, and the weather was perfect, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius, marking the beginning of summer in Japan. The experience of exploring Japan, while mainly self-guided, was enriching, albeit requiring preparation for queues and considerable walking distances. This aspect added to the adventure but might be challenging for families looking for a more relaxed pace over a short 6-7 day tour. Our 7-year-old was a trooper throughout, which significantly enhanced our enjoyment of the trip. Families traveling with younger children should be prepared for the physical demands of the itinerary. Overall, we highly recommend Pick Your Trail (PYT) for their expert suggestions and prompt responses, which made our journey hassle-free. Just keep in mind that self-exploration and careful planning are essential for making the most of your Japan experience with PYT.

Just returned from an amazing family trip to Japan planned through Pickyourtrail, and we are really happy with the overall experience. A big shout-out to Kaarnika for helping us put together the itinerary. We had quite a few changes and requests during the planning stage, and she was always patient, flexible and supportive in accommodating them. Special thanks also to Swathi, who made the pre-trip experience very smooth. She patiently answered all our questions and made sure everything was in place before we travelled, which was really reassuring. And finally, thank you to the local Japan team for the smooth on-ground execution. Everything came together nicely, and we could simply enjoy our holiday without having to worry too much about the arrangements. Travelling internationally with family involves a lot of planning, so having good support before and during the trip makes a huge difference. Pickyourtrail did a great job on that front. You chose the destinations, and they did not provide a cost breakdown. Here is the corrected review: PickYourTrail helped us choose hotels across our destinations and sent timely reminders. The car pickups and local tour providers were generally on time, which helped the trip run smoothly. The support during the holiday was less satisfactory. Too many people were coordinating with me, and I was repeatedly asked for updates that the team could have shared internally. It felt intrusive when I was trying to enjoy my holiday. One dedicated point of contact would have made communication much easier. When a typhoon affected our time in Japan, I did not receive a timely or helpful response. I also felt the hotels should have been checked more carefully: some looked good in photos but were not comfortable places to stay. Finally, I was not given a clear breakdown of costs. That would have helped me understand the choices and decide where the trip could have been more cost effective. The timely arrangements were appreciated, but the hotel recommendations, cost transparency and support during the trip need improvement.
