Best Time to Visit Chillon Castle

• April to October: The best combination of clear weather, long daylight hours and photogenic views of the lake. 
• November to March: This is the low season. Although the weather may not be ideal, since most of the exploration is indoors, the castle makes a good excursion even on rainy days. 
• July and August: These are the busiest months and should be avoided if you prefer fewer crowds.
