During the dry season, the best time to visit Kintamani is from May through September. Although Kintamani receives rainfall throughout the year, keeping the region lush and green, visiting during January and February is not recommended. During this time, the rain is heavier, making the roads inaccessible. It is normally rather cold during the nights and early mornings, so bring sweaters and jackets!
