Would you believe us if we told you we could traverse all of Thailand in an hour? Would you believe us if we said we could cross all of Europe in a single hour? Would you believe us if we said we could travel the entirety of Thailand and Europe in a short amount of time? We know, it sounds crazy! Thanks to Kasem, a travel enthusiast like us who built the park with scale replicas of well-known locations around the globe out of his love for exploring. The park, which spans more than 10 acres, serves as both a recreational area and an educational tourist destination. Mini Siam is one of the best attractions for families and children, and it's worthwhile to spend a few hours here while in Pattaya.
The park is split in half, with top European attractions represented in miniature on one side and Thai replicas on the other. An artificial river separates the two sides. Each miniature includes information about its origin and history, providing us with knowledge about these attractions. Aside from these, they make a great backdrop for photos that can be shared on social media. Both children and older people will find enjoyment and engagement while exploring this vast replica land. Therefore it is an interesting place to visit in Pattaya for a couple of hours.
The best time to visit this vast area of land is when it is dry and not raining. The period from November to December is the cool and dry phase of Thailand. Therefore the best time to visit Mini Siam is during its high season. Mini Siam remains open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However we suggest visiting the park around 4:00 in the evening to get both day and evening photo shots from the park
When you first enter the park, the first thing you'll notice are the replicas of the western world. There, you can find miniature versions of many famous western landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Mount Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, and even artefacts from ancient Egypt and Rome. The authenticity of these replicas is such that you could even persuade your friends that you had visited the real location with the right camera angles and lighting shots.
You'll be stunned to see that nearly all of the important ancient locations and temples of Thailand have been replicated after you cross the artificial rivers. They also have miniatures from the Khmer Civilization and the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Here, replicas of some well-known Buddhist temples, including Wat Chong Lom and Wat Arun, can also be found. Other significant attractions outside of Thailand can be found in the east, such as the Opera House in Australia, the MerLion in Singapore, and so forth.
Mini Siam is a well-liked tourist destination in Pattaya among both locals and visitors from abroad. It is situated in the Bang Lamung District of Chon Buri Province. You have the choice of taking a taxi or renting a motorcycle to get there. The location is also accessible by tuk-tuk. You can choose to use Mini Siam's Micro Bus transfer arrangement. The entry fee for Mini Siam is 300 Thai bahts for foreigners and 200 Thai Bahts for locals.
The sanctuary of truth is just a 10-minute drive to the northwest of Mini Siam. The wonder made entirely of wood using traditional methods is breathtaking to look at. The interior space alone is about 2000 square meters. The temple was constructed with the intention of adhering to eastern spirituality rather than lagging behind the materialistic world. The Ayutthaya Kingdom style and the religious practices of Buddhism and Hinduism both had a significant influence on the temple's architecture. The wooden sanctuary, which is more than 100 meters tall, is a striking sight with the Gulf of Thailand in the background. This is one of the best places to visit in Thailand, and one could cover Mini Siam after spending most of the time here.
Both the Million Year Stone Park and the Pattaya Crocodile Farm are nearby. Stone Park is a great place to relax due to its serene atmosphere. At the crocodile farm, visitors could even feed the reptiles and watch the trainers play with them. On their property, there are also other animals like tigers, elephants, and giraffes. Visitors are entertained daily by the animal shows, magic shows, and crocodile shows that take place here. From the mini siam, it takes just 10 minutes to get here.
Ripley’s Believe it or Not! is a well-known museum combined with an entertainment park from Ripley's Entertainment that houses some of the strangest international collections. For instance, you could explore the illusion maze, look at the interesting artefacts in the museum, feel the chill of the haunted house, and then be astounded by the wax figures of famous people.
