The Sisi Museum is dedicated to Empress Elisabeth also known as Sisi. Trust me, you will clearly experience the richness as soon as you enter the Palace. The museum takes you back to the lives of the 19th-century aristocracy. It showcases over 300 personal artifacts such as Gloves, a copy of Sisi’s Coronation gown,  Parasols, Beauty regime notes, and the death mask made after her assassination. The Silver Collection is a place of 7,000 royal collections of the grand tablewares from the Imperial court, 18th-century East Asian porcelain to a 10m-long Milanese centerpiece. The other highlights of the collection are the Meissen service from 1775, the 19th-century Viennese Empire service. The Court Kitchen displaces the royal vessels, pans and old kettles. The Viennese Royalty will take you in awe displaying these services in the Silver Collection.

One of the most amazing sights in the Hofburg Palace is the Imperial Apartments. Franz Joseph Apartment is indeed the most loved one of all. Some of the interesting parts are the Dining room with its lavishing decor and attractive Flemish artwork. Other Imperial apartments such as Empress Elisabeth’s apartment are worth visiting too. Empress Elisabeth’s apartments showcase the living room which is considered to be the prettiest room of the palace.
