Maya Bay located in the Phi Phi island is 100-metre high cliffs on three sides. Inside the bay there are several beaches, most are small and a few only exist in low water. Ferry boats can be availed from Phuket to Maya Bay tour or Maya Bay can also be accessed from Krabi through speedboat. Visitors should carry their own food. From Krabi Airport to Maya Bay the distance is roughly around 53 Kilometres and is about an hour drive.

Best time to visit Maya Bay in Phuket

Maya Bay can be visited anytime between November to April as the seas are calm. Also, reaching the bay gets easier during this period. The best timings to avoid crowds would be between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

There are no entry fees apart from the national park fee that is charged by Phi Phi Island of about 400 THB (approximately 900 INR) and there is also a discount of about 50% for children visiting Maya Bay.
