2.Musée d’Orsay

This is the art museum which is located in the prime location which is on the banks of Seine. It is a former railway station and now is the home to France’s national collection of art produced between 1848 and 1914. There are many beautiful and renowned artworks exhibited in this museum. The museum also holds some of the famous artwork collections of Degas,  Van Gogh, Gauguin, Manet, Monet, Renoir, and  Cézanne. La Cinematheque Francaise is a museum dedicated to the history of Cinema. The museum has the largest collection of artefacts that are related to movies. The cubist building where the museum house is designed by the famous Frank Gehry. The museum is a perfect treat both inside and outside for the visitors. 4.Cite des Sciences

Cite des Sciences is the largest science museum that is located in Europe. The museum attracts an overall of 5 million people every year. Some of the major attractions in the museum include a planetarium, a submarine,  an IMAX theatre, and special areas for children and teenagers which includes interactive activities and workshops. 

5.Musée Rodin

The final museum which makes to the top 5 museums to visit in Paris is Musee Rodin. In 1908, French artist Auguste Rodin donated his entire collection to the nation, under the condition that it maintains and displays the works in his former workshop and showroom, the Hôtel Biron, a grand mansion built in Paris’ 7th arrondissement during the 1700s. That building is now known as the Musée Rodin. Visitors are allowed to view his works within the mansion’s walls and also throughout the peaceful rose garden which surrounds the whole property. Museum highlights include “The Thinker,” as well as “The Gates of Hell” and “The Kiss.” The museum is currently under renovation, but all permanent exhibits are still open to visitors.
