The plan for building this kind of attraction was conceptualized during the late 2007 and the construction started on Feb 11 2009. The construction completed in late 2011. This park was built around the land shared by the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari which is 220 acres of land.

North-South Line:
Choa Chu Kang, NS4 (927), Ang Mo Kio, NS16 (138),

Mandai Khatib Shuttle:

This Particular loop shuttle runs from Khatib MRT Station (NS14) to the River safari Coach. The Timings of the Shuttle will be 8:00 AM (First bus Khatib Station) – 7:20 PM (River safari Coach bay). The Frequency of the shuttle will be 20 minutes and the time of travel will be around 15 minutes.

By Bus:

The closest bus station that is available to the River Safari will be the Singapore zoo bus stop. The service that will take you there will be the 138 and 927.

By Taxi:

The River Safari is 30 minutes away from the city centre.
