Tashi View Point

Tashi View Point is one of the beautiful places to visit in Gangtok. As the name speaks for itself, this place gives some breathtaking views of the two majestic mountains, Mt Sinilochu and Mt Kanchenjunga. Talking about its history, Tashi View Point was built by the Sikkim king, Tashi Namgyal between the years, 1914 and 1963. The place is named after the king who built it. This attraction is located in Tashi, 8 km away from Gangtok. Opposite to the point, you will also get to witness Phodong and Labrang monasteries to add a little bit of spirituality to the trip. To reach the viewpoint, you will have to climb stairs from the road level. Kindly note that the point can only accommodate 15-20 people at a time.
