We planned a trip to Bali for our honeymoon. But because of our busy work schedule, we did it 3 years later to celebrate my birthday. We picked Bali because we wanted to be in a place that is an ideal retreat for beaches, water games, temples, and greeneries. A dizzying combination of spirituality and hard-partying in one place was an amazing experience for us. We completely lost ourselves amidst the beautiful islands adorned with bright sunshine.

I personally know Pickyourtrail as a travel company. So the first and only choice in mind was undoubtedly Pickyourtrail. Their travel consultants beautifully crafted a 5-day Bali itinerary as per our wish. We picked Ubud and Kuta in our bucket. Even before our trip started, their support team was constantly in touch with us. Do check the Bali trip package from India and enjoy a wonderful trip similar to ours!

Day 1:

The day we arrived in Ubud, we enjoyed a wonderful candlelight dinner. It was just myself, Raghav, and the candlelight. The conversation, the dinner and the dreamy place will always have a special place in my heart. That was indeed a memorable experience. Do visit this place if you are planning a Bali family package.

Day 2:

The next day on our trip to Bali, we had an excellent day trip with our friendly guide who arrived on time at our resort and was very cautious and courteous. We visited a number of excellent attractions and each attraction was tailored to suit our needs and interests. Our knowledgeable tour guide explained to us the significance and the story of each place. We were taken to every place at the right time based on the weather conditions in order to provide us with the best experience.

Lempuyang Temple

Our first stop was the Lempuyang Temple. The picturesque landscape from the temple gate was amazingly beautiful and thus the place earned the name “The Gates of Heaven”. We were able to see a stunning panorama of Mount Agung and the beautiful forest around the temple, known as the lungs of the island of Bali, was simply outstanding. We had to climb the cliff to reach the temple but the efforts were totally worth it. The scenery along the way to the temple was like a painting and the beautiful sight is still lingering in my heart. Throughout our trip, we were lamenting about the refreshing cool air of the forest and the spectacular views.

Coffee Plantation

Then we headed to taste the authentic Bali teas and coffees at Satri Coffee Plantation located in a lush jungle setting. We were curious to know about the kopi luwak or civet coffee, produced with beans previously eaten, partially digested, and then excreted by the Asian palm civet, a small tree-climbing animal.

Ubud Palace

Our next leg was to the mesmerizing Ubud Palace. The stunning Balinese art with intricate designs and peculiar architecture was simply spectacular.

Throughout our trip, we were impressed by the scenic rice terraces, fragrant cuisine, stunning beaches and a galore of culture and tradition. With the impeccable combination of elaborate temples, endless coastline, waterfalls, sunsets and retreats, our Ubud trip gave us a complete package of nature and adventure.

Day 3:

Tegenungan Waterfall

Tegenungan Waterfall in Bali grabbed our interest with its tireless gushing water flow. We literally felt the sound and vibration of the falling water which was awe-inspiring. Tucked in between the green, rocky walls which were seen from our first stop point, we were able to feel the sound vibration of the falling water.

Tirta Empul Temple

The beautiful temple complex of Pura Tirta Empul with a holy mountain spring was our next stop. We were able to witness the unadulterated cultural heritage and the traditional tale of the good versus evil.

Kintamani Volcano

With the magnificent view of its caldera and the beauty of Lake Batur, Kintamani volcano took its fond place in my heart. The captivating view of the cliff surrounded by lush greeneries was amazingly beautiful and gave us awesome pictures as well.

Ubud Traditional Art Market

The Ubud Art Market, located at the centre among the art producing villages in the centre point to Ubud, was an imperative shopping place for Balinese handicrafts and souvenirs. The prices at this market were reasonable and we were able to bargain as well.

West Nusa Penida Island

On our penultimate day, we badly wanted some peaceful and heartwarming destination to go. The West Nusa Penida Island was like an escapade from the noisy crowd and the huge mob of tourists with amazing places to visit. The island offered us incomparable joys of its tranquil atmosphere and picturesque landscape. We dropped at magnificent photo stops and took some Insta-worthy pictures. We also had an opportunity to amaze at the embarking beauty of the Angel Billabong, Broken Beach, Kelingking Beach, and Crystal Bay. My favorite experience in the whole trip was the snorkeling activity under the crystal clear water of the ocean. My husband and I, both being beach lovers, thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Water Activities

The water sports in the blistering beaches of Bali was the icing on the cake. The rich culture of Bali on a truly memorable adventure in the waters around the island will always be my favourite experience. We were taken to the Tanjung Benoa Beach Resort and our adventure started there. The inflatable banana boat ride at the beautiful scenery of the Bay made our hearts light and we were floating in joy.

Then we were all set to hit the skies on a parasailing adventure. The adrenaline rush and the bird’s-eye view of the Balinese coast was a dream come true experience during our trip to Bali.

Pickyourtrail surprised me on my birthday!

I would like to thank Pickyourtrail for their wonderful gesture on my birthday. It was truly unexpected and they gave me a delicious cake and it meant so much to me. With the excitement and candlelight radiating on my face, I turned a year older happily in the beautiful city of joy and happiness. Thanks, to the team for putting those efforts for making my day absolutely unforgettable!

With a perfect combination of spirituality, nature’s retreat and hard-partying, Bali became our favourite destination. The boundless charm of Bali full of mountain peaks, beaches, scenic routes, ancient temples and traditional villages offered us relentless fun and enjoyment. Pickyourtrail did a commendable job during our Bali budget trip from India in crafting a beautiful itinerary and giving us support throughout the trip. I’m eagerly waiting for my next trip with them!
