Ubud does not have any international airport on its own and the closest airport that you can make use of is at Kuta. From there you can drive down to Ubud. Some of the other cities from where you can easily reach Ubud include Denpasar, Seminyak, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Legian, Gili island, and Manggis.

Since there aren't any buses operating inside the city, Bemos are a form of public transportation in Ubud. They cover most of the main routes in and around Ubud. While most of the bemos stop working in the afternoon, they are always frequently available in the morning. The major stop and the gathering point for the Bemos is at the Ubud Market and the fare for riding within Ubud is not more than Rp 7000.
The closest airport to Ubud is Ngurah Rai International Airport. It is set at a distance of 37 Kms from the city of Ubud. From there, you can get into one of the many shuttle bus services that operate frequently between the two cities. But remember, the shuttle buses take at least 2 hours to pick up all the passengers. Alternatively, you can hop on a prepaid taxi which costs Rp 300,000. The ride takes around an hour.
Ubud isn't well connected by public transportation.So Ubud does not have city passes to offer.One can hire private taxis to go around the city.
Though traffic volumes are depressingly high in Ubud, driving is still fun and is also relatively cheaper than other modes of transportation. The road signs tend to inconsistent along Ubud and the best way to get around is by asking the locals for routes. You can also rent bicycles for aound Rp 20,000 to Rp 30,000 but the terrain in Ubud is predominantly hilly and cycling can be hard.
