10 best Places to Visit in Mizoram – Know where to travel

As travellers, we all have bucket lists of places that we want to visit in our life. While yes we want to travel to all the destinations in the world, there are still these few special places that we want to explore and those special places are what makes the bucket list special. One of the most commonly featured destinations in everyone’s bucket list is the North-Eastern Part of India. The North-Eastern part of the country has seven states closely knit with each other. These seven sister states as they are popularly known as share similar cultures, people, landscapes and traditions. This is one of the reasons why people seldom address the states collectively as the seven sisters or the northeastern states rather than individually referring to them. So let us look at the 10 best places to visit while in Mizoram.

The seven sisters of India are Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. These states possess landscapes which have been untouched by man, water so pristine that you can see the river bed and some of the top hill stations in North India with nature so entwined with life that it feels like living in the middle of a forest or a natural reserve.

We have established some context on the 7 sisters of India. But how do we cover everything in 7 states in the limited amount of time that one has? We obviously cannot cover everything and this is where we have to pick and choose between what piques our curiosity and what is worth the effort.

In this blog, you are going to find out about the things to do in one of the most beautiful North-Eastern states of India.
