It’s been many years since this legend has been entertaining us Non-Stop. Yes. We are are talking about our One and Only Super Star Rajinikanth. As yet another of his block busters get ready to release, we take you on a virtual trip across all the locations he has shot at. And of course, help is at hand if you want to get to those places!

Having begun his career in Apoorva Raagangal and blazing into fame with Billa & Baasha, he has not only proved the fact that ‘Anyone can become Anyone’ with his Rags to Riches life story, but also has caught the hearts of millions of his fans. I mean seriously .. don’t we look at him as God?!

Here are a set of exotic locations where Rajinikanth movies were shot. If you visit any of them – what would make a better picture for your social media page, with your selfie’s tagline saying “Thalaivar was Here”!? 😉

1. Lençóis Maranhenses National Park – Brazil

Located in Maranhão state of north eastern Brazil, this flooded sand land was where the song ‘Kadhal Anukkal’ was shot from his recent blockbuster – Enthiran (Robot). The area is mostly composed of large, white, sweeping dunes and was challenging for the film’s  crew to carry the set around amid its unpredictable weather conditions. 2. Ferrari World – UAE

Some years ago, we were all screaming our lungs out when he appeared on screen at the Ferrari World for his Intro song in Lingaa. The team were on a week long schedule at Abu Dhabi to shoot this and head to Scotland for another song and some key sequences for the movie.

The only constraint the museum people had was that none of the crew members (including Rajinikanth himself) touch any of the automobiles, while the camera is not rolling. To know more about the packages of UAE.

3. Bilbao – Spain

This museum of modern and contemporary art was the backdrop in the movie Sivaji, when he becomes all white and shining and comes in front of his lady love to impress her. Located in Spain’s northern coast line, Bilbao has started to attract a lot of architect’s and modern art buff’s. 4. Pamukkale – Turkey

Ah the magical Cotton Castle hot springs of Turkey is truly a romantic place to bask into. The movie that ran for more than a 1000 days made it’s mark on Pamukkale and Cappadocia to shoot a song for Chandramukhi.

5. Machu Picchu – Peru

This song marked the 1st Indian movie to be shot in South America. On finishing the shoot for the first song for Enthiran, the team flew from Brazil to Peru to put up this lost Inca city as the backdrop for the song – Kilimanjaro.

In certain part’s of the song’s shoot – the actors had to cross the mountain areas via foot (which would be a little strenuous for a 59 year old).
