Best time to visit Vythiri

Chembra Peak

Fondly known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls, Soochipara Falls is a 3 tiered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad. Lose your heart for the amazing views of lush deciduous, evergreen and montane forests. Pookode Lake

At around 2 km from Vythiri, there’s this beautiful freshwater lake called Pookode. Tucked between evergreen forests and wooden slopes, this is one of the must-visit attractions in Vythiri. This pretty lake can be accessed easily by road and is considered as an amazing getaway location. Banasura Dam

Located on the foothills of Banasura in the Wayanad district, Banasura Dam is quite a picturesque location near Vythiri. It is considered as the largest earthen dam in the country and the second-largest in the continent.
