Seychelles is known for its white-sand beaches and turquoise blue waters. But this archipelago is also known as a golf destination. There are two outstanding golf courses in Seychelles that challenges golfers of all levels. These Golf courses in Seychelles are sure to offer unmatched experience with tee-offs surrounded with lush vegetation, gorgeous mountains and stunning beaches.

These bonzer golf courses are located in two different islands. One is located on the mainland Mahe and the other on the island of Praslin.  The golf course on Mahe is a challenging nine-hole course. The one on Praslin is a championship 18-hole course. 

The Seychelles GolfClub                         

The Seychelles Golf Club was founded in 1972. It takes about only 10 minutes to reach, from the Seychelles International Airport. This Club is about 4992 yards and has 9 holes. It is the only Golf course in Mahe. It is surrounded by coconut palms and takamaka trees around a mangrove marsh. This course does not require any pre-booking (except for Thursdays and Saturdays)

This course is open daily from 8:00 am. The other amenities found here include;

  2. A Pool Table
  3. A Cafeteria Restaurant 
  4. Fast Food And Full Meals Stalls
  5. Tennis Courts
  6. Swimming Pool

The Lemuria Golf Course

The Lemuria Golf Course is located on the island of Praslin, the second most populated island in Seychelles. It was built in 2002 and it is connected to the stunning Constance resort. With a remarkable view of the Indian Ocean, this course has been recognised as one among the top 10 18-hole golf courses in Africa, by CNN.

This is located at about 2 hours from Mahe, by Ferry. It gets difficult after the Hole 13 and this course indeed challenges the golfers at any level.
