Los Coronados

Los Coronados is located offshore from the city of Rosarito. About seven miles away from the city, this is a major spot for all the water sports enthusiasts out there. This is a complete paradise for those who love snorkelling, scuba diving. To preserve the wildlife there, no visitors are actually allowed into the islands. But history says that this has been a major hideout for the pirates. Today it is a major spot for fishing for the locals, and also for snorkelling and scuba diving owing to the clear blue water present here. If you reach here in the right season, you might even get to see one or two whales. Baja Studios

The City of Rosarito has always been a shooting place for the Hollywood film industry. This is also a hideout for many celebrities. But did you ever imagine this city will have its own film studio? Yes, it is none other than the Baja studios. This was built for the main purpose to film the Titanic movie in the year 1990s. Now, this is one of the biggest studios with some of its own dressing rooms, stages and filming tanks in the world. Apart from Titanic, Tomorrow Never Dies, Deep Blue Sea, Master and Commander: The Far Side of The World, and many other movies were shot in the studio. The studios stretch up to 46 acres in size, add this peculiar site to your bucket list. Scuba Diving

One of the best place for scuba diving in the world is the Baja peninsula. If you did not dive at the Los Coronados then check out the Underwater park here for Scuba diving. Mainly check out the sunken ship Uribe 121. This underwater park is an ongoing project with 4 cemeteries of shipwrecks, a tribute to Titanic, and Atlantis. Right now Uribe 121 is just a sunken ship here. One important thing to note is that you must be a certified open water diver. This is a one day tour with lunch included.
