Adventurous activities in Jaipur

Cycling

Cycling is one of the best forms of exercise one can do. But it can get boring when doing it every day as a routine for some. While in Jaipur, why not try cycling? Yes, you read that right. At Nahargarh fort, you can cycle your way around the fort as you explore the beauty of it. The grand fort has 12 identical suites for the queens belonging to the royal family. This unique room style of the palace is called the Madhavendra Bhawan is located inside the fort. Hungry while cycling around? Take a wholesome bite at the Padao Open Bar located just on the top of the palace. This stunning resto-bar provides an awesome colourful view of the pink city.

Entry fee: Entry ticket into the fort is INR 20 for Indians and INR 50 for all foreign nationals.

Open hours: The fort is open to the public on all days of the week between 10 AM – 5 PM.

Amer Fort was built in the 16th century by Maan Singh Ji Saheb. The architecture of the fort compromises of both Rajput and Hindu strokes and artistic elements. Explore the large gateways of the fort by going on an elephant ride. Ride on the magnificent animal on earth and feel royal. The fort also holds magic shows every evening for the public in two languages.

Entry fee: The entry ticket to the fort is INR 25 for Indians and INR 200 for all foreign nationals. Entry to the fort is given on a concession fee for students at INR 10 for Indians and INR 100 for all foreign national students. It costs around INR 900 to ride the royal elephant per individual.

Open hours: The fort is open to the public between 8 AM – 6 PM on all days of the week.

Wildlife Safari Tour

One of the most daring and exciting things to do while vacationing is to go on a wildlife safari tour. Open jeeps, summer grown trees and grasses, shades of autumn, everything makes it perfect for a wild ride.
