The Galle Fort Lighthouse is one of the oldest coastal lighthouses inside the Galle Fort and is maintained by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority. The best time to visit the lighthouse is from December to March. During these months, the amount of rainfall is very less and the weather is very pampering for a visit!   • To visit the lighthouse, you will have to pay an entry fee of 200 Sri Lankan Rupee per person
  • The place is open 24 hours on all days of the week.
  • Carry warm clothes with you as it might get very cold after sunset.
