By Train:
One of the most preferred forms of transportation is the train. Visitors can take the train line T3, T4, and T8 and reach the Circular Quay. From Circular Quay, it would be a 5-7 minute walk to the Opera House.
One can also take the complimentary Courtesy bus arranged by the Opera House. However, this will be on a first come first serve basis.
By Bus:
Another option to reach the Opera House would be by bus. One can take the bus lines B1, M52, L94, 333, and 392 and get dropped off at the attraction. It is one of the most cost-effective modes of transport.
By Cab/Taxi:
For those who prefer less walking or do not want to take public transport, taking a cab or a taxi would be a great option.
Visitor Information for Sydney Opera House
Opening hours:
The Sydney Opera House is open every day of the week for its visitors. One can visit the Opera House anytime between 9:00 A.M in the morning till 5:00 P.M in the evening from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday, Opera House would be open from 10:00 A.M in the morning to 6:00 P.M in the evening.
Entrance fee:
In order to enter into this iconic building, you will have to purchase an entry ticket. The entry ticket costs about 37 AUD for adults and about 20 AUD for children.

One can take a guided tour of the Sydney Opera house to understand the architecture and the history behind the place. An experienced guide would take you inside the Opera House through the Joan Sutherland Theatre, other smaller theaters, and the Concert Hall.
