Types of Visa available to travel to Morocco

Tourist Visa

Tourist Visa is given travellers who would love to visit the country for mere fun and travel. The tourist visa of Morocco is valid for only 90 days from the date of issue. One has to re-apply again if you plan on travelling again.

  • Time taken to process the visa is 3-5 days for any individual
  • Valid for 6 months with 90 days as stay period from the date of issue
  • Entry type for the given visa can be only Single entry. Which means once you have entered the country with your visa you cannot re-enter with the same.

Business Visa

Business Visa is given travellers who are keen only on visiting the country for work, trade and anything related to business. The business visa in Morocco is valid for only 90 days. One has to re-apply again if you plan on travelling again after single entry.

  • Time taken to process the visa is 5 – 7 days for any individual.
  • Valid for 6 months with 90 days as stay period from the date of issue
  • Entry type for the given visa can be only Single entry. Which means once you have entered the country with your visa you cannot re-enter with the same.

Documents required to process your Visa to Morocco

  • Original Passport which is valid for at least 6 months with 3 fully blank pages
  • Old Passports if applicable
  • Visa Application form duly filled and signed
  • Supporting documents – Necessary documents to evaluate the capacity of the traveller and to confirm his/her return (Mentioned below for reference)
  • 2 recent photographs. The photos have to be taken in colour with white background and matt finish of the photo
  • Personal Covering letter – A letter explaining the purpose of travel to the country
  • Original Bank Statement which has to be stamped and updated for the last 6 months with bank seal. ( For Employed – Salary Account or Savings Account / For Self-Employed or businessmen – Current Account)
  • Air tickets: To prove that you will return back to your country.
  • Hotel reservation/bookings: A proof of accommodation for your entire stay.

Supporting Documents

For a Minor

  • Birth Certificate along with the names of both parents printed.
  • No Object Certificate (NOC) from the parent. In case if the child is travelling with one parent, the letter of consent authorizing travel must be legalized by the other parent
  • In case the child is travelling alone or without either parent, then a notarized letter of consent from both the parents granting their permission to travel
  • Death Certificate in case the minor is an orphan
  • ID Proof of parents
