Best time to visit Similan Islands

The island remains closed during monsoon. It is most recommended to visit Similan islands in Phuket is from 16 May to 15 October every year. Right now the island is not open for the tourists for an indefinite period. Similan Islands, Ko Tachai, has now been closed since May 15, 2016, and the island is recovering from the damage that was brought on by the massive crowding of visitors.

Entrance fee of the national park is 500 baht for adults and for children it is 300 baht. If you are holding Thai citizenship then the entry fee for adult is 50 baht and for children, it is 20 baht.

The entry fee for diving in Similan islands comes with an additional cost of 200 baht per day and most of the boats charge you extra if you don’t ask them before boarding.
