How to reach?

To reach Blue from anywhere on the Island, head to Mahebourg which is just a few miles from the airport by taxi or bus. You can also opt for a 45-minute walk along the coast via Pointe d’Esny, to reach blue Bay.

The turtle bay snorkelling

This marine park is situated in the northwestern part of the country.  Therefore it is protected from the South-East Trade Winds, unlike Blue Bay. This marine park is surrounded by beautiful vivid corals. It houses a large variety of fishes and turtles living in harmony.

How to reach?

You need to take a boat trip from the airport to the Island which takes 45-60 minutes depending on the sea conditions.

Pointe aux Piments 

Pointe aux piments is a private beach. there is a separate zone for swimmers and another for aquatic activities with boats. Located on the North West coast, it is a perfect destination for snorkelers.

One can take a taxi or cab from the airport and reach Pointe aux piments

Flic en Flac

The Flic en Flac beach offers a safe and calm lagoon for snorkelers. It also has rich marine lives and vivid corals. Hence it is a great and comfortable snorkelling destination.

How to reach?

Catch the local fishermen’s boats at Case Royale and La Gaulette. You can also reach Flic en Flac by catamarans and speedboats from Le Morne, Black River, or even further.
