Sriracha Tiger Zoo In Pattaya, Thailand

Sriracha Tiger Zoo is located in the city of Sriracha, which is about 100 kilometers away from Bangkok and is situated on the outskirts of Pattaya. Opened in 1997, Sriracha Tiger Zoo covers a vast 400,000 square meter area, making it one of the biggest zoos in Thailand. The zoo is one of the most widely visited tourist attractions, especially young families with kids enjoying it the most. The zoo has a wide range of animals being housed, with the Royal Bengal Tiger being its primary focus, as the zoo houses one of the largest numbers of the Royal Bengal tigers. The zoo is predominantly divided into four zones: Animal zone, tiger breeding zone, crocodile zone, and talent show zone. How to reach?

The Sriracha Tiger Zoo is located about 100 kilometers away from Bangkok and is located on the outskirts of Pattaya, 38 kilometers away from Pattaya to be precise. The zoo is a very famous point of attraction in Thailand and hence there is very good connectivity and accessibility from both Bangkok and Pattaya. From Pattaya, one can avail of the Pattaya to Sriracha Tiger Zoo bus or the zoo’s shuttle service or a minibus to reach the zoo. You can also hire a car to reach the zoo as it is barely 30 minutes drive away from Pattaya. From Bangkok, one can either take a bus or a van from the Ekamai bus terminal or the Mor Chit bus terminal.

The ideal time to visit Sriracha Tiger Zoo

There is no ideal season to visit the zoo and the zoo is open throughout the year barring government/public holidays. The zoo is open between 8 am – 6 pm all 7 days of the week. There are various shows that happen throughout the day inside the zoo, for which the show timings can be found on the website, and tickets can be pre-booked for the same on the website. The entry fee is 450 Baht for adults and 250 Baht for children. If the child is over 140 cm in height, an adult ticket must be bought for the child. The ticket rates are discounted if the ticket is pre-booked online, with the cost being 420 Baht and 220 Baht for adults and children respectively. Although please keep in mind, while you book online, the booking must be made 2 days prior to the intended date of visit.
