Hue is one of the most gorgeous towns in Vietnam along the riverbanks of the perfume River. People who would love to have a bit of illustrious history, make sure you visit this place. Visit the Tombs of the Ancient Emperors

The Tombs were built by the Buddhist legends in the 19th and 10th century. They are carved to tell the stories of the Buddhist Legends. This sure is a must-visit for people who want to soak themselves n the history of the Hue. The pick of the tombs is the Tomb of Tu Duc, the Tomb of Minh Mang and the Tomb of Khai Dinh. Walk along the Perfume River

You won’t see rivers with these sort of names most often. Rightly so this is known as one of the best waterways in Vietnam and where else, in the beautiful city of Hue.  How would someone not like the walk alongside the banks of the river with a beautiful sunset? This has one! You can also take a dinner cruise or a boat of your choice. The most familiar types of boats are the normal paddleboat and the dragon boat. It is one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam.

What should have been the centre of the Government is now one of the most visited tourist spots in the Stunning city of Hue. This is a vast complex with moats, carved gates and royal pavilions. You can also take a walk around the clutch of engaging museums on the grounds. The main galleries have a collection of Vietnamese textile and costumes, not to miss.

Alba Thanh Tan Hot Springs

Unlike the previous one on the list, this is located slightly off the city centre. Takes 25 minutes to drive from the city centre to reach Alba Thanh Tan Hot Springs by cab. The hot spring resorts that you can find here will have a number of outdoor tubs. These resorts are on par with the ones you get in all of Vietnam. You can also enjoy a soothing massage or spa treatments and there is an aqua park as well for the little ones. 

Visit the Royal Theatre

This was constructed in 1826, now acts not only as a theatre but also a Museum dedicated to Vietnamese music. Shows are regularly held here based on traditional Vietnamese music and dance. People also come here to explore the music gallery filled with local Vietnamese musical instruments. The shows usually last for a good 45 minutes once you are done with this treat yourself with the food along the roadside to get a wholesome experience.

Journey to Bach Ma National Park

This has some of the prettiest spots in all of Hue, Located at a height of 1450 metres above the sea level. You get to amaze yourself with the towering waterfalls accessible through an adventurous hiking trail. On the way up, be ready to be awe-struck by the French Villas on the anchored on the slopes.  This place is admired for the lush green landscapes. There is an option of staying overnight to spend the day in the pools and taking a walk around the flora and fauna.

Admire Hon Chen Temple

This temple is built on the banks of a beautiful water body. As per the locals, this temple is dedicated to the goddess of the cham population of the local village. The crown hangs on top of the cliff in Ngoc Ho Village, was replaced several times. The temple now is more like a gallery than a temple. Has a good amount of antique collection from ancient vases to Chinese calligraphy. And there are local music and dance performances held in this place during the third and seventh lunar months of the year. 

Take a trip to Elephant Springs

This is another example to showcase the natural beauty of Vietnam. This is for someone who wants to visit a hot spring without much crowd, located, right in between Hue and Da Nang. This place is a gem. You can see the stones carved with elephants and rest alongside the pools in the middle of the Jungle. Can you be more relaxed? I bet no. The silence of the Jungle is one thing that blows people away.

Van Quat Dong – Fishing

This is for people who want to chill in groups with the locals. This is a truly unique experience. Can’t get any better than sitting along with the pool or a lake along with the locals and fish? Iterating this again, it’s a true rural experience. And the beautiful things about this is that according to the tradition people don’t kill the fishes caught, Instead, they witness its beauty and let them go again. The little ones can enjoy a coffee or an ice cream in the nearby restaurants.
