Public Transport in Kuala Lumpur

The Kuala Lumpur MRT SBK line connects across 31 stations and runs about 51 Km . It is a fully automatic transport line connecting important places in the city. It runs from Sungai Buloh to Kajang. There are additional facilities such as the escalators, lifts and ramp for disabled, prayer rooms, ticket vending machines, customer service centers and toilets. The line starts operating as early as 6 am and closes depending on the arrival of the last train usually around midnight.

Taxi & Airport transfer in Kuala Lumpur

Metered Taxis are available for passengers arriving at the KL airports. Taxis will be stationed at Levels 1 and 3 of the main terminal building. A RM2 coupon is mandatory to boarding these taxis. 50% extra will be added for airport transfers from 00:00 to 6:00 am.

To drive or rent a car in Malaysia, many car hire companies require a full driving licence with a photograph and be held for at least 2 years with no major endorsements. Drivers who are not from the ASEAN member countries are required to carry an IDP (International Driver's Permit)
