How to reach Payar Island
By Ferry: Langkawi and Penang are the nearest dock to Payar Island. From Penang, the ferry covers a distance of approximately 77 kilometres, which will take around 2 hours. From Langkawi, the ferry covers a distance of approximately 42 kilometres, which will take around 45 minutes to reach Payar Island.
Entry Ticket for Payar Island
The entry charges for children (3-11 years) entering Payar Island is approximately INR 2155 and for an adult, it is INR 2500. You need to pay extra charges if you want to try scuba diving and snorkelling.
Best time to visit Payar Island
Payar Marine Park is a year-round destination, and hence Payar Marine Park is open throughout the year with no fixed timings. Payar Island is open from Monday to Sunday and the timings are from 12:01 am – 11:59 pm. The temperature throughout the year ranges from 20-degrees Celcius to 30-degrees Celsius.
